Accessibility statement

Draft — under legal review.

We want every shipper, driver, applicant and contracting officer to be able to use this site. This statement says what we have done, what we know is still short, and how to tell us when something is in your way.

Our commitment

California Fulfillment LLC is committed to making californiafulfillmentllc.com conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility is a build requirement on every page and every release, not a review at the end.

What the site does

  • One H1 per page, meaningful headings, landmarks and a skip link to the main content.
  • Real buttons, links and form labels. Every field has a visible label above it; placeholder text is never the label. Errors are written in words and tied to the field.
  • A visible focus ring on every interactive element; keyboard access to the menu, accordions, the bio dialog, the freight-profile quiz and the manifest builder.
  • Colour is never the only carrier of status: shipment states use a dot and a word; charts carry labels.
  • Body text at 17px with generous line-height; text can be resized to 200% and the layout reflows to 390px wide with no horizontal scrolling.
  • Data tables carry captions and header scope, and stack into labelled rows on small screens.
  • Motion is limited to transform and opacity, and every animation renders its final state under prefers-reduced-motion. Nothing autoplays with sound; nothing flashes.
  • Diagrams are marked decorative where the surrounding copy carries the meaning, and given a text description where they do not.
  • Asynchronous status (form submission, quote loading, quiz results, copy-link) is announced through live regions.

Known limitations

  • The capability statement is offered as a PDF. We are working to make the PDF fully tagged; the same information is available as HTML on the government contracting pages.
  • Carrier tracking pages and government portals we link to (SAM.gov, Cal eProcure) are outside our control.
  • A Spanish-language version of the careers page is planned but not yet available.

How we test

Each release is checked with automated tooling, keyboard-only navigation, and screen-reader passes. Forms are tested end to end with a keyboard and with 200% zoom at 390px.

Tell us about a problem

If any part of this site is hard to use, or if you need information in a different format — large print, plain text, a phone walkthrough of a form — contact us and we will help:

Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using. We treat accessibility reports as defects and fix them in the next release.

Formal complaints

Government customers may also raise Section 508 concerns through their contracting officer.

Technical notes

This site relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WAI-ARIA and SVG. It is built to work in current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile, and with screen readers. Core pages render their content without JavaScript; interactive tools such as the manifest builder require it.
