Container in.Pallets out.Fewer bills.

Inbound containers unloaded, sorted, palletised and consolidated so outbound freight moves in fewer, fuller shipments. Floor-loaded or palletised, 20′ or 40′, drayed to our door at any of our nine facilities, from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach to Port Houston and Port Newark.

What’s included in container consolidation

Everything between the container doors opening and the outbound truck leaving, on one statement.

  1. Devanning

Floor-loaded or palletised containers unloaded at the facility dock. Count and condition recorded at the door.

  2. Palletise, label & wrap

Cartons built onto pallets to your spec or the consignee’s, labelled and stretch-wrapped for the road.

  3. Sort by SKU, PO or consignee

One container, many destinations. We split it the way it ships, not the way it was loaded.

  4. Consolidate to LTL or TL

Multiple containers or POs combined into fewer, fuller outbound shipments. Quoted before they move.

  5. Cross-dock

Freight that is leaving today never goes into a position. Off the container, onto the outbound truck.

  6. Store the remainder

Whatever is not shipping now goes into weekly or monthly storage on the same account.

  7. Drayage coordination

We book the dray from the port or rail ramp to our door, dispatched same-day from $400, and keep the free time in view.

  8. Count & photo report

Pallet count, carton count, damage photos and the outbound plan, posted to the portal the day the container is done.

How it works

From container doors to outbound truck

  1. Book the container

Send the packing list, ETA and how it should ship out. We book the dock and the dray.

  2. Devan

Unloaded, counted and photographed. Discrepancies against the packing list flagged the same day.

  3. Same day

    Palletise & sort

Built, labelled and wrapped by destination. The outbound plan is confirmed with you.

  4. Next business day

    Consolidate & ship

LTL or truckload quoted and booked; cross-dock freight already gone. Remainder into storage.

  5. On completion

    Report

Count, photos, outbound tracking and the storage balance on one report.

Turnaround per container depends on load type and volume.

Pricing

Priced per container, then per pallet built.

The work inside the building is fixed per container and per pallet. The freight out is quoted per shipment, and the consolidation is what makes that number smaller.

A good fit if you…

  • Import floor-loaded containers and need them palletised before they can ship
  • Receive one container that has to reach several consignees or stores
  • Want to cut drayage, demurrage and per-shipment freight by shipping fuller
  • Need cross-dock for what ships now and storage for what ships later

Consolidation questions

What happens after a container arrives at the warehouse?
The dray driver drops it at the facility dock inside the booked window. The dock team opens it, counts and photographs the load, and unloads it — by pallet if it was palletised, by carton if it was floor-loaded. Cartons are built onto pallets by SKU, PO or consignee, labelled and wrapped. Freight that ships today is cross-docked; the rest goes into positions. You get a count and photo report the day the container is done.
Devanning vs transloading — what’s the difference?
Devanning is unloading the container. Transloading is moving the freight straight from the container into a domestic trailer, usually without storing it. Consolidation sits between the two: we devan, palletise and sort, then combine what is going the same way into fewer outbound shipments. Which one you need depends on whether the container is going to one place or many, and whether it needs to be palletised first.
Floor-loaded or palletised — does it change the price?
Yes. A floor-loaded container is unloaded carton by carton and every pallet has to be built, so devanning and palletising both apply. A palletised container comes off by the pallet and usually only needs checking and re-wrapping. The rate card shows both, and the packing list tells us which one you have before the container is booked.
How fast is the turnaround per container?
Turnaround depends on load type and volume and is confirmed on the proposal. Cross-dock freight leaves the same day it is built. The dock is booked to the container’s ETA, so the clock starts when the doors open, not when a slot frees up.
Do you arrange drayage from the port?
Yes. Drayage from the port or rail ramp to any of our nine facilities is dispatched same-day from $400: the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach for Los Angeles and Ontario, Port Houston for Houston, Port Newark and Elizabeth for New Jersey, and the Savannah and Florida ports on request. We track free time and last free day so the container moves before demurrage starts, and we book the empty return once it is devanned.
