Common questions

Straight answers from the dispatch desk.

Can I use one service without signing up for all of them?
Yes. Most customers start with one — usually freight or storage — and add services as they need them. Everything sits on one account and one invoice.
What is the difference between LTL and truckload?
LTL (less-than-truckload) shares a trailer with other shippers’ freight and charges for the space and weight you use, so it suits one to roughly ten pallets. Truckload gives you the whole trailer, direct from your dock to theirs with no terminal handling — faster, and usually cheaper from about 12 pallets or 15,000 lb. Ask dispatch to rate both and the break-even is on the quote.
How far does same-day delivery reach?
100 miles from each of our nine facilities in seven states, from Los Angeles to New York, picked up and delivered the same business day when booked before the cutoff. Beyond 100 miles the same booking becomes next-day delivery on a CFL-dispatched truck or on LTL, whichever gets there first.
Is there a minimum storage commitment?
The first 30 days are free, then $25.00 per pallet per month. No long-term lease, no minimum square footage. Storage is billed per pallet position, and you release positions when you no longer need them.
What do I send you for a free cost-savings report?
Three months of freight invoices and, if you have them, three months of storage invoices — PDFs or a carrier export — plus a sentence on what you ship and where. A CFL operator returns a line-by-line report showing where you are overpaying and what to change. Free, with no obligation to move your freight.
