California state logistics vendor for agencies and departments
California Fulfillment LLC is a California state logistics vendor providing warehousing, kitting, coordinated freight transportation and same-day delivery to state agencies, departments, local governments and special districts from its Los Angeles and Ontario, California facilities, with additional capacity in six other states.
How state agencies buy from CFL
Purchase orders, requests for quotation and informal solicitations are accepted through the contracts desk. Where a department uses a leveraged procurement agreement, the contracts desk will confirm in writing whether CFL can perform under it before quoting.
Small-business set-asides and certification
California Fulfillment LLC does not hold Department of General Services Small Business (SB) certification and does not present itself to any state buyer as a certified small business.
State purchases set aside for certified small businesses are therefore reached as a subcontractor to a certified prime, with the warehousing scope performed in CFL’s partner-run facilities under the prime’s certification. Purchases outside the SB set-aside — direct awards under the applicable state thresholds and leveraged procurement agreements — are available on request.
Services for state requirements
General warehousing and pallet storage at the Los Angeles and Ontario, California facilities (first 30 days free, then $25.00 per pallet per month). LTL and truckload freight within California and interstate, coordinated by CFL dispatch through contracted carriers. Same-day delivery within 100 miles of each facility and next-day service across the state. Inbound container and pallet consolidation for departments receiving imported goods. Corrugated boxes and janitorial supplies on the same purchase order.
Each service is described in full on its commercial service page; the scope, units of measure and reporting are the same for public buyers.
Local agencies and special districts
Counties, cities, school districts, transit agencies and special districts are served on request under their own purchasing rules. Cooperative purchasing and piggyback arrangements are considered case by case. Send the purchasing requirement and any required vendor forms to the contracts desk; a W-9 and certificate of insurance are returned within one business day.
