Retail replenishment that hits the appointment window

Retail replenishment at CFL means pallets built to the retailer’s routing guide — right labels, right pallet pattern, right BOL — and delivered to the distribution centre inside the appointment window. Nine facilities in seven states put inventory within one or two days of most retail DCs, and same-day delivery covers every address within 100 miles.

The challenge

Three things we hear on the first call, in the words we hear them.

01

“Chargebacks eat the margin.”

A missed appointment, a wrong label or a short pallet turns into a deduction on the remittance, and nobody can trace which shipment caused it.

02

“Every retailer has a different routing guide.”

Pallet height, label placement, carrier selection and appointment rules differ by buyer. Getting one wrong is the same as being late.

03

“DC appointments do not move for your carrier.”

The window is the window. If the truck is late, the load is refused and the freight bill doubles.

How CFL runs it

Four steps, one account, one operator with their name on it.

  1. Receive & hold

Finished goods received into pallet positions near the retailer’s DCs, counted and reported.

  2. Build to the guide

Orders built to the retailer’s routing guide: pallet pattern, height, labels, packing list and BOL fields exactly as specified.

  3. Book the appointment

Delivery appointment requested and confirmed before the pallet leaves the dock, with the carrier chosen to meet it.

  4. Deliver & prove it

Proof of delivery captured and matched to the PO, so a chargeback can be answered with the document, not an argument.

Three questions

What is your freight profile?

Pallet or parcel, container or domestic, urgent or scheduled. Three answers return the line items we would quote first — then build your manifest and an operator prices it.

What do you ship?

Questions retail shippers ask

Anything not here: (818) 917-4966.

Can you ship to big-box retail distribution centres?
Yes. Pallets are built to the retailer’s routing guide and delivered by LTL or truckload to the confirmed appointment.
How do you prevent chargebacks?
By building to the guide and proving delivery: correct labels and pallet pattern at the dock, appointments confirmed before departure, and proof of delivery matched to the PO so every deduction can be disputed with the document.
Do you support both LTL and truckload replenishment?
Yes. Small replenishment orders move LTL; full DC loads move truckload. Both are booked from the same desk and shown on the same monthly report.
Can you replenish stores directly rather than through a DC?
Direct-to-store delivery is available by LTL, and same-day for stores within 100 miles of a CFL facility. Store-level routing rules are set up per retailer at onboarding.
